I have a question although I doubt I will get many answers as I don't think that many read this blog LOL !
If you were given a small tin filled with a few goodies for a new arrival would you want the tin decorated so that it's suitable for use or would you just class it as packaging & wouldn't really care ?
I know that sounds odd & cryptic & I shall try my best to get some photos up tomorrow nite so you can have a sneak peak of what I am talking about ...
I have had a few ideas of late & am tossing through a few of them & what will work ... We shall get into what goes into the tins when I show off what I am talking about !

I would pay attention to the tin and would keep it but that said I am a compulsive hoarder and have kept everything the kids were given when born haha
Id love to keep the tin as a keep sake as well . . something decorated but not over the top . . so that it could easily blend in with decor and what not
I would say keep it. If it is nice and personal I would say that most people would keep it. I have one for both of the kids - Amelia keeps her clips in hers - she loves it
If you are giving this to someone in particular, you could easily personalise the tin to suit their tastes. But if it's for general public, I'd keep it simple too.
Tins are fabulous for storage! I'd be very happy to receive a gift in a decorated tin!! (But I also keep wrapping paper too....)
